Description of the activity
La Leona Waterfall Tours
Our tour begins in the town of Curubandé, 25 minutes from Liberia, in the province of Guancaste. Once they arrive at our location, they get ready and then we drive 10 minutes to the trailhead. From there, we will start walking through the forest on the banks of the Blanco River. We will pass through incredible rock formations, canyons, caves and crystal clear waters until we get to see La Leona Waterfall at the end.
Walk inside the forest
We will start walking in the forest next to the white river that is born in the Rincón de la Vieja volcano. In the end, La Leona Waterfall will be waiting for us.

Along the way we will see caves, canyons and large rock formations, and even small waterfalls, before coming to see La Leona Waterfall.
